Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… this whatchamacallit… Zodiac Unicorno Gemini thingy. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like somethin’ them city folks would jabber about.
First off, what in tarnation is a “Unicorno”? Sounds like one of them made-up words, like somethin’ a kid would dream up. Near as I can tell, it’s like a horse… but with a horn? And wings? Lordy, they sure do come up with some crazy stuff these days. Anyways, this here Gemini one… well, it’s supposed to be two of ’em.
Why two? Well, they say it’s somethin’ to do with the “Twins.” I reckon that’s like when you have two babies at once. My cousin Bessie had twins once, bless her heart, she said it was like having two tornadoes in diapers at the same time. These Unicorno things, though, they ain’t no babies. They got all these fancy colors and designs on ’em. Like a rainbow exploded on a horse… with a horn… and wings. You followin’ me?
- They got wings, so they flyin’. Like a bird, but fancier.
- They got horns. I ain’t sure what that horn is for. Maybe pokin’ things?
- And there’s two of ‘em. Cause it’s Gemini. That’s what they tell me anyways.
Now, where do you get these things? Seems like you can find ’em online. That “eBay” place, they got everything, don’t they? My grandson showed me once. Said you can buy and sell just about anything on there. Even these… Zodiac Unicorno Gemini things. Free shippin’ too, sometimes. That’s good, ’cause shippin’ can cost a pretty penny.
People, they seem to like collectin’ these things. I don’t get it myself. Back in my day, we collected stamps or maybe coins. But these little plastic horsey things? To each their own, I guess. They say it adds some kinda “magical charm” to your collection. Charm? I guess it’s like havin’ a pretty picture on your wall, only it’s a… a horsey thing with wings and a horn. And there’s two of ’em this time, remember, cause it’s that Gemini thing.

They say these here Gemini Unicornos are special. “Exclusive,” they call it. That just means they’re harder to find, I reckon. And probably cost more too. Everything special costs more these days. You go to the store to buy a loaf of bread, and it’s like they’re sellin’ you gold. Makes an old woman like me wanna just bake my own bread, I tell ya.
So, these two little figures… they’re supposed to be somethin’ called an “air sign.” Now, I don’t know much about stars and signs, but they say it means somethin’ about bein’ friendly and talkative. Like them city folks at the market, always chattin’ away. I guess that’s why they made two of ‘em. Twins, remember? They gotta have someone to talk to, I suppose. I always talked to my chickens, they were good listeners, them chickens.
Tokidoki… that’s the name on the box, I think. Sounds foreign. Probably made in one of them far-off places. They make all sorts of things over there, don’t they? Clothes, toys, even them fancy phones that everyone’s got glued to their hands these days. Can’t hardly have a conversation with young folks anymore, always starin’ at them screens.
Anyways, if you’re into collectin’ these things, this Zodiac Unicorno Gemini set seems like a big deal. Two little horsey things with wings and horns, all dolled up in fancy colors. They fly in on a “celestial gust of wind,” whatever that means. Sounds like somethin’ out of a fairy tale. And folks are sellin’ ’em on that eBay thing, so if you got the money and the inclination, go on and get yourself a pair. Me? I’ll stick to my chickens.
I still don’t quite get the whole “Unicorno” thing, but it seems harmless enough. Just little toys for folks to collect and admire. Like them porcelain dolls my sister used to have, all lined up on the shelf. Pretty to look at, but not much use for anything else. But hey, if it makes people happy, that’s all that matters, I reckon. Just don’t ask me to explain it all again. My old brain can only handle so much talk about flyin’ horsey things with wings and horns… and twins!
