Alright, let’s talk about this Jennifer Angel and her horoscopes. I don’t know much about fancy stars and all that, but my old man used to say the moon pulls the tides, so maybe it pulls on us too, eh? Makes ya think, it does.
Now, this Jennifer, she’s one of them intuitive consultants and professional astrologers. Sounds fancy, don’t it? She also writes stuff, “inspirational” they call it. I reckon that means she tells you good things are gonna happen, even if they ain’t. But hey, sometimes a little hope is all ya need, right?
So, Jennifer, she does these weekly horoscopes. Like, for March 10 through March 16, she’ll tell ya what the stars got in store for ya. I ain’t never seen stars doing much, but folks seem to like it. She talks about the sun bein’ in Leo, Mercury in Cancer, and Venus in Gemini. Sounds like a whole bunch of jibber-jabber to me, but maybe there’s somethin’ to it.
- The sun in Leo, that’s supposed to be when people are all friendly and outgoing, like a bunch of chickens in the yard.
- Mercury in Cancer, well, that sounds crabby, don’t it? Maybe folks get a bit sensitive then.
- Venus in Gemini, that means people are chattin’ a lot, like them magpies outside my window.
Jennifer, she can do these psychic astrological readings too. She looks at your “horoscope chart” and answers your questions. I guess it’s like lookin’ into a crystal ball, but with more stars and planets involved. If you got questions, she’s got answers, or so they say. I got plenty of questions myself, like why the chickens keep gettin’ out of the coop, but I don’t reckon Jennifer can help me with that.
She also does this daily horoscope thing. Like on March 15th, she was talkin’ about the moon and Mars and makin’ decisions based on your feelings. Now, that’s somethin’ I can understand. Gotta go with your gut, that’s what I always say. If somethin’ feels wrong, it probably is. Stars or no stars, that’s just common sense.
Jennifer ain’t the only one talkin’ about stars, though. Take Jennifer Lopez, the singer. She’s a Leo, see? Born on July 24th. They say Leos are all superstar-like, beautiful and talented. Well, JLo sure is somethin’. She’s got the voice and the moves. Maybe them stars do matter after all.
Folks like to share these horoscope videos with their friends and family. I guess it’s somethin’ to talk about, somethin’ to make ya feel like ya got a little bit of control over what’s gonna happen. Life’s a mess, that’s for sure. Maybe knowin’ what the stars are up to makes it feel a little less messy. Or maybe it’s just for fun. Either way, ain’t hurtin’ nobody.
So, this Jennifer Angel and her horoscopes… Is it real? Is it fake? I don’t know. But if it makes people happy, if it gives ‘em a little somethin’ to look forward to, then I guess it’s alright. We all need a little somethin’ to believe in, whether it’s stars or chickens or just good luck.
