Well, howdy there! Let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout this moon stuff, ya hear? They sayin’ the moon’s gonna be dancin’ around between somethin’ called Sagittarius and Capricorn this Sunday. Don’t ask me what all that means, sounds like fancy talk to me. But I reckon it’s gotta do with the stars and all that sky business.
Now, I ain’t no scholar, but I heard folks talkin’. They sayin’ there’s gonna be a new moon, too. A new moon, they call it. Sounds kinda fresh, like a new beginning or somethin’. Maybe it’s a good time to plant some ‘taters or maybe set some hens. I don’t rightly know. This new moon, it’s in that Sagittarius place. People keep jabberin’ about it.
They also sayin’ somethin’ about lights changin’. Green light, red light, somethin’ somethin’. Sounds like a busy intersection in the city if ya ask me. All that blinkin’ and flashin’. Gives me a headache just thinkin’ about it. But maybe it means somethin’ good, ya know? Like the go-ahead for somethin’ you been wantin’ to do. Or maybe it’s a warnin’ to stop and think for a bit before you go plungin’ headfirst into somethin’. I sure hope it ain’t nothin’ bad.
This here moon, it don’t sit still, no sirree. It’s always on the move. They say it changes its place every two and a half days or so. Flits around like a butterfly, I tell ya. Can’t make up its mind where it wants to be. One minute it’s here, the next it’s over there. Keeps them star-gazers busy, I reckon.
And speakin’ of movin’, they sayin’ this moon’s gonna be void for a spell. Void, that’s what they call it. Sounds kinda spooky if you ask me. Like it’s disappeared or somethin’. But I guess it just means it ain’t doin’ nothin’ much for a little while. Just takin’ a break, maybe. Everyone needs a break now and then, even the moon, I suppose.
Now, with all this Sagittarius talk goin’ around, folks are gettin’ all excited about the holidays. That’s what I hear, anyways. Sagittarius season, they call it. Sounds fancy, but I reckon it just means it’s that time of year when folks get all giddy and start buyin’ things and eatin’ too much. Just like any other holiday season if you ask me.
- But this here moon movin’ between Sagittarius and Capricorn, that’s somethin’ special, they say. A time for new beginnings, maybe. A time to set your sights on somethin’ and go for it. Or maybe it’s just a time to sit back and watch the sky and wonder what it all means.
- I don’t know for sure. But I do know one thing: that moon’s gonna keep on movin’, no matter what. And we’re gonna keep on livin’, no matter what that moon does. That’s just the way it is.
So, if you see that moon shinin’ bright this Sunday, don’t be surprised if it looks a little different. It’s just doin’ its thing, movin’ between them Sagittarius and Capricorn places. And who knows, maybe it’ll bring us all a little bit of luck. We could sure use some, that’s for sure.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about this moon business. I ain’t no expert, just tellin’ ya what I heard. You can take it or leave it, makes no difference to me. Just remember to look up at the sky once in a while and appreciate the show. It’s a good one, even if ya don’t understand it all.
And don’t you go worryin’ too much about all this fancy talk. Just keep your feet on the ground and your head up high. That’s what I always say. And if that moon wants to dance around between them Saggy- somethin’ and that Capri-whatchamacallit, well, let it dance, I say. Let it dance.
Important thing is to keep on keepin’ on. That’s what life’s all about, ain’t it? Just keep on truckin’, no matter what the moon’s doin’ up there. That’s the way I see it, anyway.
