Well, hey there, y’all! Let’s talk about this… uh… this capricorn constellation necklace thing. My grandkid, she showed me somethin’ like it on that phone thingy she’s always lookin’ at. Said it’s a necklace. Fancy, huh?
Now, I ain’t no expert on fancy jewelry, mind you. I wear my grandma’s old locket, and that’s about it. But this necklace thing, it got me thinkin’. It’s got somethin’ to do with them stars, apparently. Them Cap’ somethin’ stars.
See, these young folks, they like all that star stuff. They got necklaces and rings and all sorts of things with star pictures on ’em. This capricorn necklace , they say it’s got somethin’ to do with when you was born. Like, if you was born ‘tween December 22nd and January 19th, you’re one of them Cap’ folks. A Capricorn, they call it. Sounds like somethin’ you’d catch from a goat, doesn’t it?
Anyways, these necklaces, they got little sparkly things on ’em. Like tiny diamonds, but prob’ly not real ones. My grandkid says some got moon rocks on ’em, but I reckon that’s just her talkin’ fancy. She told me that some of them necklaces are zodiac jewelry , whatever that means. Sounds like somethin’ them city folks would make up.

- Some are silver, plain but nice lookin’.
- And some got them birthstone things on ’em, little colored rocks. Pretty, I guess, if you like that kinda thing.
Now, I seen some pictures, and they all look a bit different. Some got just the star pattern, like dots connectin’ the stars in the sky. My grandkid says it’s called a constellation necklace capricorn. Others got little pictures, like a goat or somethin’. Apparently, that goat is the Capricorn symbol. A goat! Can you believe it? Of all the critters in the world, they pick a goat.
They say these necklaces make good gifts. Like if you got a friend born in them Capricorn days, you give ’em this necklace and they’ll be happy as a clam. I don’t know about that. Back in my day, a good pie was a better gift. But times change, I suppose. And now you can even buy this stuff on that “on-line” thing my grandkid keeps talkin’ about, she says you can find online jewellery at a low price if you look hard enough.
My grandkid also told me some folks think these necklaces can tell ya somethin’ about yer personality. Said it’s some kinda astrological analysis thing. Like if you wear a goat necklace, you stubborn or somethin’. I don’t buy it. You ask me, people are just people. Stars ain’t got nothin’ to do with it.
But, if you like that kinda thing, if you like wearin’ stars around your neck, then I reckon this capricorn constellation necklace is just the thing for ya. Just don’t go blamin’ the goat if your day don’t go right, ya hear? It’s just a necklace, after all. A pretty little thing, maybe, but still just a necklace.
