Okay, so I’ve been messing around with gemstones lately, specifically the ones that are supposed to be good for Aries. You know, since I’m an Aries myself, I figured, why not give it a shot? Might as well see if these rocks can actually do anything for me.
First off, I got my hands on a bunch of different stones. The internet said the main ones for Aries are Quartz Crystal, Carnelian, Citrine, Black Onyx, and Rose Quartz. So, I went to this little shop downtown, the one with all the incense and dreamcatchers, and picked up a few of each. The guy behind the counter gave me a weird look when I told him what I was doing, but whatever, I was on a mission.
- Quartz Crystal: This one’s supposed to be my “power stone.” I carried it around in my pocket for a week. Did I feel more powerful? Not really. Maybe a little more awake after my morning coffee, but that’s about it.
- Carnelian: This one’s a reddish one. I put it on my desk while I was working on that big project. Honestly, I did feel a bit more focused, but it could have just been the pressure of the deadline.
- Citrine: They say it’s for attracting good things. I kept it in my wallet, hoping it would magically fill up with more cash. It didn’t. Still waiting for that to happen.
- Black Onyx: I wore this one as a necklace for a few days. Felt kind of cool, like a little armor or something. Didn’t really notice any other effects.
- Rose Quartz: This pink one is all about love and stuff. I tried meditating with it, like they show in the movies, but I just ended up thinking about what I was going to have for dinner.
I also read somewhere that the lucky numbers for Aries are 9, 6, and 7. So, I started looking for those numbers everywhere. Bought a lottery ticket with those numbers. Didn’t win. Tried to only schedule important meetings at times that included those numbers. That just made me look weird to my boss.
Oh, and apparently, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday are lucky days for us. I tried to plan all my dates on those days, but that didn’t really work out. Turns out, other people have schedules, too.
More Stones, More Trials
Then I found out about even more stones! Like Diamond, Red Coral, and Amethyst. I figured, the more the merrier, right? Bought a small diamond (it was expensive!), a piece of red coral (it looked cool), and a pretty purple amethyst. Carried them around, wore them as jewelry, even slept with them under my pillow. Still no major life changes. Also, I learned that the ultimate Aries stone is the Bloodstone and also Red Jasper is good for Aries. I spent much money on them.
Kunzite – The Love Stone
The last one I tried was Kunzite. It’s this pinkish-purple stone, and the internet said it was good for self-love and healing old wounds. I kept it by my bedside and tried to focus on it before I went to sleep. Did it work? I don’t know, maybe. I did start feeling a bit more comfortable in my own skin, but that could also be because I finally got that promotion at work.

So, did any of this actually work? I’m not sure. Maybe it’s all in my head, but I do feel a little different. Maybe a bit more confident, a bit more grounded. Or maybe I’m just telling myself that because I spent a bunch of money on rocks. Either way, it was a fun experiment. I guess I’ll keep these stones around, just in case. You never know, right?
