So, I decided to give this Aquarius Black cologne a try. You know, always on the lookout for something new to add to my little collection. The bottle looked pretty slick, I gotta say – 3.4 fl oz, which is about 100ml, just the right size. I found it on one of those big online shops, the ones that sell everything under the sun.
First thing I did was, obviously, give it a sniff test straight out of the box. I always enjoy the first impression, and this one did not disappoint. It had this masculine scent that is a mix of aquatic and aromatic. It’s a bold statement, you know?
Then I read somewhere that you’re supposed to spray it on your pulse points. Behind the ears, that’s what they said. Apparently, it helps the scent last longer, or something like that. So, I followed the advice and sprayed a bit there. I noticed it did seem to stick around for a good while, which was a pleasant surprise.
- Sprayed on pulse points
- Noticed it lasted longer
The scent itself, it’s got a lot going on. I caught hints of citrus and some spices, like anise seed and basil. There’s also lavender and juniper berries in there, which I’m a big fan of. Then it kind of mellows out with rose and jasmine, and the base has amber, vanilla, and musk. It’s like a journey through different scents. And the Aromastrology suggestion includes Green Fig and Cedar Citrus, which is quite interesting.
I started wearing it out and about, just to see how it felt in the real world. I even wore it to my friend’s birthday party, you know, to see if anyone else noticed or said something about it. Got a couple of “Hey, you smell good” comments, which is always a good sign. I guess the people who know me well noticed that I changed my perfume, just like Leonardo Di Caprio did.
Overall Impression
All in all, I’d say this Aquarius Black cologne is a solid choice. It’s got that strong, masculine vibe without being too overpowering. It’s the kind of scent that makes you feel a bit more put together, you know? Plus, it lasts a decent amount of time, which is always a bonus. Definitely keeping this one in my rotation. It’s suitable for year-round use. I will use it frequently. I might even buy another bottle when this one runs out.
