Okay, so, today I wanna talk about my little experiment with crystals for divination. You know, trying to see into the future and all that stuff. I’ve always been curious about this, and I finally took the plunge and gave it a try.
First, I got myself a bunch of crystals. I read somewhere that Clear Quartz is like the “master healer” and it’s super good for amplifying energy. It’s supposed to help clear your mind and make you more open to, like, spiritual stuff. So, I got a pretty big piece of Clear Quartz, figuring it’d be my main crystal for this whole thing.
I also picked up some other crystals that are supposed to be good for divination, like Moonstone, Tiger’s Eye, and a chunk of Smoky Quartz. The lady at the crystal shop said these could be good for scrying. She kept saying “scrying” and I was nodding my head like I knew, but I had to google it later. Turns out it’s like trying to see visions in the crystals. Sounds kinda cool, right?
So, the first thing I tried was this method I found online where you throw 13 stones onto a board and see how they land. Each stone represents something different, like love, or your home, or even, like, planets. I used a mix of the crystals I bought and some regular stones from my garden. I made a little board with different sections marked out for each thing. Then, with my eyes closed, I tossed the stones and tried to interpret the patterns they made. Honestly, it was pretty tough. I got some weird arrangements, but I couldn’t really make sense of them. Maybe I need more practice?
Then I tried some crystal gazing. I took my big Clear Quartz, held it in my hands, and stared into it, trying to clear my mind. I was hoping to see some visions or something, but mostly I just saw my own reflection staring back at me. It was kinda trippy, though. I did feel more relaxed after, so that was nice.
- Step 1: Gathered my crystals – Clear Quartz, Moonstone, Tiger’s Eye, Smoky Quartz.
- Step 2: Tried the 13-stone method – tossed them on a board, tried to interpret the patterns.
- Step 3: Attempted crystal gazing – stared into the Clear Quartz, looking for visions.
Overall, it was a fun experience, even though I didn’t get any mind-blowing revelations. I think I need to learn more about how to actually interpret the stones and maybe meditate a bit more before trying to gaze into the crystals. Maybe it takes time to develop these skills. Or maybe it’s all just a bunch of hooey. Who knows? But I’m definitely gonna keep trying. It’s like a fun little mystery to explore.

If any of you have tried this, let me know! I’d love to hear about your experiences. Maybe you have some tips for a newbie like me?
My Personal Takeaways
Honestly, it is harder than it looks. But it’s pretty fun to try different methods and see what happens. I’m not sure if I believe in it 100%, but it’s definitely an interesting way to spend an afternoon. And hey, even if it doesn’t work, at least I have some pretty rocks now!
