Okay, here is my sharing about the Thai Constellation and Albo, based on my own experience.
So, I was getting into those big, leafy plants, you know, the Monstera kind. And I got really interested in two of them – the Thai Constellation and the Albo. I mean, they both have these cool white and green leaves, and I just had to have them in my little indoor jungle.
Getting My Hands on Them
First, I went out and bought both plants. Finding the Thai Constellation wasn’t too hard, but the Albo, man, that was a bit of a treasure hunt! I finally got them and, let me tell you, they weren’t cheap. But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do for the love of plants, right?
Setting Them Up
Once I got them home, I put them in these nice, big pots with lots of good soil that drains well. I made sure they were near a window but not in direct sunlight. I learned that the hard way with other plants – too much sun and they get all crispy.
Watching Them Grow
- Watering: I didn’t just water them whenever. I’d stick my finger in the soil, and if it was dry, then it was time for a drink.
- Leaves: Here’s where I started to see a real difference. The Albo, it had these big patches of white, like someone splashed paint on it. But the Thai Constellation, its white parts were more like little speckles, like stars. That’s how it got its name, I guess.
- Growth: The Albo grew a bit slower. I figured it was because of the white parts of the leaves. You see, the green parts are what make food for the plant, so less green means slower growth.
The Real Difference
The big thing I noticed was how different the white parts looked. Like I said, the Albo was all about those big white areas, while the Thai Constellation was more about the speckled look. It was like the difference between a starry night and a cow’s spots, kind of.
Keeping Them Happy
It wasn’t all smooth sailing. Sometimes a leaf would turn yellow, and I’d have to figure out what was up. Usually, it was me giving it too much water or not enough light. It’s all a big learning process, you know?

My Two Cents
In the end, I love both of these plants. They’re like living art in my living room. If you’re thinking about getting one, just remember that they need some care. And if you’re choosing between the two, it really comes down to what kind of white pattern you like more – the bold, splashy white of the Albo or the delicate, starry white of the Thai Constellation.
So there you have it, that’s my experience with these two beauties. Hope this helps anyone thinking about bringing these plants into their home!
