Okay, so, I got this idea to mess around with dice divination, you know, just for fun. I figured, why not make a little chart to map out what each roll could mean? So, that’s what I did. I grabbed a few dice from my board game stash and started rolling.
First, I had to decide how many dice to use. I went with three because it seemed like a good number—not too few, not too many. Then, I rolled them a bunch of times, jotting down the numbers I got. After a while, I started seeing some patterns, like certain combinations popping up more than others.
Next, I tried to figure out what each combo could mean. This was the fun part. I let my imagination run wild. For example, if I rolled a 1, a 3, and a 6, I thought, maybe that means “unexpected changes leading to a big success.” Or, if I got two 5s and a 2, perhaps it’s a sign of “balance disrupted by a minor setback.”
Here’s how I broke it down:
- Rolling three 1s: I figured this has to be something big, right? So I wrote down “a major new beginning” or “a fresh start.”
- A mix of low numbers (1s, 2s, 3s): This felt like it’s about challenges or obstacles. I put down stuff like “facing hurdles” or “time to be patient.”
- Lots of high numbers (4s, 5s, 6s): This seemed positive, so I wrote “success is near” or “good luck is on your side.”
- Doubles or triples of any number: These felt like they amplified the meaning of that number. Double 4s? “Strong stability.” Triple 2s? “Major challenges ahead.”
I kept rolling and brainstorming, filling up my chart with all sorts of interpretations. It was pretty cool to see how the meanings evolved with each roll. After I felt like I had a good amount of combinations covered, I organized my notes into a neat little table. I used different colors for different types of outcomes, like green for positive, red for negative, and yellow for neutral.
Finally, I gave my chart a test run. I thought of a question I had in mind, rolled the dice, and checked my chart for the outcome. It was surprisingly insightful! Of course, it’s all in good fun, but it made me think about the question from different angles. I did this a few more times, just to see how it felt. It’s kinda like those old-school fortune-telling games, but with dice.

My Dice Divination Chart
It is a simple tool that helped me to reflect and have some fun. I do believe that it is a way to spark some creativity and maybe get a new perspective on things.
