Okay, here’s my take on the “Scorpio Year of the Snake” project, written in a personal, blog-style format:
So, I got this wild idea the other day. I’ve always been fascinated by astrology, both Western and Chinese. And it hit me: wouldn’t it be cool to combine the two? I’m a Scorpio, and I was born in the Year of the Snake, so I decided to dive in and see what kind of creative thing I could make from this combo.
The Brainstorm
First, I jotted down everything that came to mind about Scorpios. You know, intense, passionate, mysterious, a bit secretive, maybe even a little… dangerous? Then I did the same for the Snake: wise, intuitive, also mysterious, elegant, maybe a touch… cunning?
I could immediately see some overlaps! Both signs share that aura of mystery and a kind of hidden power. It felt like there was something really interesting to explore there.
The Deep Dive
Next, I spent a good chunk of time just reading. Anything I could find about Scorpios, Snakes, the mythology around them, symbolism, you name it. I filled up pages in my notebook with keywords, phrases, and little ideas that popped into my head.
- Scorpio keywords: transformation, rebirth, depth, intensity, secrets, passion, power, control.
- Snake keywords: shedding skin, wisdom, healing, cycles, intuition, temptation, hidden knowledge.
Making Connections (The Fun Part!)
This is where it got really exciting. I started to see how these two sets of traits could intertwine. Like, the Scorpio’s theme of transformation perfectly mirrors the Snake’s shedding of its skin – both are about letting go of the old to make way for the new.

The intensity of a Scorpio? That could be the Snake’s focused gaze, its unwavering attention. The Scorpio’s intuition? That’s the Snake’s ability to sense things others miss, to navigate by instinct.
I made a mind map!
Putting it Together
So after all my digging, I thought it would be cool to represent this combo. I sketched some designs, mixing the Scorpio symbol with a Snake’s shape. It ended up being a fun project.
It’s still a work in progress, to be honest. But that’s the beauty of it, isn’t it? It’s all about the journey, the exploration, the constant evolution. Just like a Scorpio and a Snake!
