Okay, so “luna en libra” – sounds fancy, right? It basically just means “moon in Libra” in Spanish. I’ve been getting into astrology lately, not super deep, but enough to, like, check my horoscope and blame my bad decisions on Mercury being in retrograde. You know, the usual.
So, the other day, I decided to actually track the moon’s phases and see if they affected my mood. I’m not gonna lie, I felt a little silly at first, but I’m a little silly. I’ve got time!
Getting Started
- First, I found a simple moon phase calendar online. There are tons of them, just a quick search.
- Then, I started a little journal. Nothing fancy, just a notepad on my phone where I could jot down how I was feeling each day and what the moon was up to.
The Libra Moon Experiment
I noticed that when the moon was in Libra, the descriptions talked about balance, harmony, relationships, and all that good stuff. Libra is supposed to be all about diplomacy and fairness, too.
So, during the few days the moon was in Libra, I tried to be extra mindful of those things. I paid more attention to my interactions with people, tried to be more understanding, and even attempted to mediate a small argument between my friends (which, honestly, felt a little like playing pretend UN negotiator). I had to get them some snacks and drinks. Everyone was just hangry.
I also focused on creating a more balanced environment around me. I cleaned up my workspace, lit some candles, and put on some chill music. Basically, I was going for peak cozy vibes.
The Results (So Far)
Honestly? It was kind of nice. I can’t say for sure if it was the moon or just me being more conscious of my actions, but I did feel a little more… balanced. Maybe a bit more patient, too. Placebo effect? Perhaps. But hey, if it works, it works, right?

I’m still tracking the moon and my moods. It’s a fun little experiment, and it’s making me more aware of myself and my surroundings. I’m not about to become a professional astrologer or anything, but it’s a neat way to add a little mindfulness to my day.
I think I will keep doing this. I mean, why not?
