Okay, so today I wanted to try out something called “Scorpio Witchcraft.” I’d heard about it, seen some stuff online, and figured, why not? I’m always up for trying new things, especially if it involves a bit of magic and mystery.
First, I gathered my materials. Since it’s Scorpio season, I wanted to tap into that intense, passionate energy. I grabbed:
- A black candle (because, you know, Scorpio vibes).
- Some smoky quartz (for grounding and protection).
- A piece of paper and a pen (to write down my intentions).
- A small bowl of water (representing the water element, Scorpio’s domain).
- My favorite essential oil blend,I Chose Patchouli, dark, earthy, and a bit mysterious, just felt right.
Setting the Mood
I dimmed the lights, lit the black candle, and put on some ambient music. I needed to create a space where I felt comfortable and connected. I took a few deep breaths, held the smoky quartz in my hand, and just tried to center myself.
Writing My Intentions
I then take a pen and paper, write down some interntions about myself.
I wrote down what I wanted to release and what I wanted to manifest. For Scorpio energy, it felt right to focus on transformation and empowerment. I wasn’t super specific, more like general feelings and goals I wanted to work towards.
I focused releasing all negative emotions and thoughts.

I focused welcoming all postive emotions, power and energy.
The Ritual (Such As It Was)
I anointed the candle with a tiny bit of the oil, visualizing my intentions as I did so. I placed the smoky quartz near the candle, imagining it absorbing any negativity and amplifying the positive energy. I then carefully folded the paper with my intentions and held it over the candle flame. I didn’t burn it completely, just enough to char the edges, symbolizing the release and transformation I was seeking.
I dipped my fingers in the bowl of water and sprinkled a few drops around the candle, visualizing the water cleansing and purifying the energy. I sat there for a while, just meditating on the flame, the smoky quartz, and the water. I let my mind wander, paid attention to any thoughts or feelings that came up, and generally just soaked in the atmosphere.
Wrapping Up
After about 20 minutes, I felt like I was done. I carefully blew out the candle, thanked the universe (or whatever’s out there), and put everything away. I kept the smoky quartz with me for the rest of the day, as a reminder of my intentions.
Did it work? I don’t know, it’s not like I suddenly became a super-witch or anything. But I did feel calmer, more focused, and more in tune with myself. And sometimes, that’s all the magic you need. It’s a personal thing. It’s more about the process and the intention than any dramatic, instant results.I made a cup of herbal tea, then cleaned up my little ritual space.
