Okay, so I’ve been diving into this whole “Scorpio Witch” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey! I started out pretty clueless, just drawn to the aesthetic, you know? Dark, mysterious, a little bit intense… that’s totally my vibe.
Getting Started
First, I gathered some basic supplies. I’m talking candles – lots of black ones, obviously, but also some deep reds and purples. I found a cool, antique-looking journal at a flea market, and I picked up some crystals that just felt right. Amethyst, smoky quartz, and obsidian were my go-to’s.
The Messy Middle
- I started by setting up a little altar space in my room. Nothing fancy, just a corner of my desk where I could keep my things.
- Then, I began researching. Seriously, I read so many articles and blog posts. I watched a ton of YouTube videos – some helpful, some… not so much. It was a lot of trial and error.
- I tried a few simple spells – mostly focusing on self-love and protection. I messed up a couple of times, like, I totally forgot to ground myself once and felt super spacey for the rest of the day. Lesson learned!
- I remember, I lit the wrong candles for one, and mixed the steps from others, lol!
Figuring it Out (Sort Of)
Slowly but surely, I started to feel more connected to the energy I was working with. It wasn’t like I suddenly had superpowers or anything, but I felt more in tune with myself and my intuition.
I began incorporating tarot cards into my practice, which was a game-changer. It helped me tap into my subconscious and get a clearer sense of what I needed to focus on.
Where I’m at Now
I’m still learning, of course. But I’ve developed a little ritual that I do every new and full moon. It involves journaling, meditation, and a simple candle spell. It’s a way for me to check in with myself, set intentions, and release anything that’s no longer serving me. It’s pretty basic, but it works for me.

I also began making my self-love oil and use it on my body after shower.
Honestly, the whole “Scorpio Witch” thing is less about a specific label and more about embracing my inner power and intuition. It’s about connecting with the darker, more mysterious aspects of myself and the universe. And it’s been a pretty awesome experience so far!
