Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “aquarius beds” all over Pinterest and I was like, “I gotta try this.” I mean, who doesn’t want a super cozy, dreamy bedroom setup? So, I decided to give my own bedroom a little makeover, Aquarius style.
First things first, I cleared everything out. Like, everything. I wanted a blank canvas to work with. I took down the old curtains, stripped the bed, and even moved out some of the furniture. It was a bit chaotic, but totally worth it to get that fresh start.
Then, I started with the color palette. I read somewhere that Aquarius is all about blues, purples, and maybe a touch of silver. I already had light blue walls, so I decided to build on that. I went to the store and picked up some new bedding – a super soft, fluffy duvet cover in a pale lavender color, and some silvery-grey throw pillows. Oh, and I found this amazing, textured blanket in a deep indigo shade. Score!
Next up was the lighting. I wanted something soft and dreamy, not harsh overhead lights. I found these cute string lights with little star-shaped bulbs and draped them around the headboard of my bed. I also got a Himalayan salt lamp for the bedside table – it gives off this warm, pinkish glow that’s super relaxing.
- Soft bedding: Lavender duvet, silver pillows, indigo blanket.
- Dreamy lighting: Star-shaped string lights, Himalayan salt lamp.
- Calm colors: Light blue walls, touches of purple and silver.
After that it was time for the finishing touches. I added a new stylish white, fluffy carpet.
I added some plants – a big, leafy one in the corner, and a couple of smaller succulents on the windowsill. I also hung up a tapestry with a celestial design – it really tied the whole “Aquarius” vibe together. And finally, I spritzed some lavender-scented room spray to make everything smell as good as it looked.

Honestly, the transformation was amazing. It felt like a totally different room. It’s so much more relaxing and inviting now, and I actually look forward to going to bed! The whole process took a couple of days, and it definitely involved some trial and error (those string lights were a pain to hang!), but I’m so happy with how it turned out. My bedroom finally feels like the dreamy, peaceful sanctuary I always wanted.
