First off, where’s this place at? Right smack dab in the middle of things, they say. Hanoi, that’s the place. Now, I ain’t never been to Hanoi, but they say it’s a big city, lots of hustle and bustle. This hotel, it’s right there, where you can walk to all the stuff. Them water puppet shows, they got them right there. And some kinda old house, too. Sounds kinda neat, I guess.
Now, ’bout the rooms. Don’t go expectin’ no palace, ya hear? Some folks sayin’ they small. Like, just big enough for a bed, and that’s about it. Queen bed, they call it. Sounds fancy, but I bet it ain’t no bigger than my old feather bed back home. But hey, if you just need a place to sleep for a night, it’ll do. It ain’t like you gonna be dancin’ a jig in there anyway.
- Good things: It’s right in the middle of everything, so you can walk to places. Easy peasy.
- Bad things: Rooms ain’t big. If you got a lot of stuff, you might be in trouble.
They say it’s good for a “short period of time,” that means if you just need a place to sleep and then get goin’, it’s alright. Ain’t no place to stay for a month, that’s for sure. Less you like livin’ in a closet.
But listen, this hotel, it’s got a name, don’t it? Aquarius Legend Hotel. Sounds kinda grand, like somethin’ out of a storybook. But don’t let that fool ya. It ain’t no fancy-schmancy place. It’s just a place to sleep, plain and simple.
Now, if you’re lookin’ for a place to stay in Hanoi, and you don’t wanna spend a whole lot of money, this might be the ticket. It’s cheap, they say. And like I said, it’s right in the middle of everything. So you can save your money for seein’ the sights, or eatin’ some good food. They got good food in Hanoi, I hear tell.
I ain’t got much more to say ’bout this hotel. It’s a place to sleep, it’s in a good spot, and it don’t cost too much. That’s all there is to it. Don’t go expectin’ no fancy stuff, and you’ll be just fine. Just a bed to rest your weary bones, that’s all a body needs sometimes.
So, if you’re headin’ to Hanoi and you need a cheap place to stay, go on and book yourself a room at the Aquarius Legend Hotel. Just don’t come complainin’ to me if the room’s too small, ya hear? I told ya what to expect.

More things to note: It ain’t no Aquarius Grand Hotel, mind you. That’s a different place, with a different street name and all. This here is the Legend, not the Grand. They both in Hanoi, but they ain’t the same. Don’t get them mixed up now.
This Legend place is on Nguyen Huu Huan Street, just so you know. But honestly, all them street names sound the same to me. Just tell the taxi driver “Aquarius Legend Hotel” and he’ll know where to go. Or maybe he won’t. I dunno. Like I said, I ain’t never been there. Just tellin’ ya what I heard.
