Okay, so, about that “Aquarius Sun Capricorn Moon” thing. I got into this whole astrology kick a while back, not super deep, but enough to be curious. So, I wanted to figure out my Sun, Moon, and all that jazz. Turns out, there are a bunch of websites that do this for you. You just gotta punch in your birthday, the exact time you were born, and where you popped out.
I used one of those sites and boom – it spit out that I’m an Aquarius Sun with a Capricorn Moon. I was like, “Cool, but what does that even mean?”
So, I started digging. From what I gathered, the Sun sign is supposed to be your basic personality, like, who you are at your core. Apparently, as an Aquarius Sun, I’m supposed to be all independent and maybe a bit rebellious, you know, marching to the beat of my own drum. That actually does sound a bit like me, I have to admit. I’ve always been one to question things and do things my own way. I even tried to start a rock band once, didn’t go well, but I was passionate at the time.
Then there’s the Moon sign, which is more about your feelings and inner self. My Moon is in Capricorn, which I read is all about being practical and, like, emotionally grounded. At first, I thought, “Nah, that ain’t me. I can be a total drama queen sometimes.” But then, when big stuff goes down, I’m usually the calm one, the one figuring out what to do next. Remember that time a friend had a total meltdown at the bar? I was the guy who got everyone home safe, and even made sure everyone had a ride back home. That was a wild night.
- Aquarius Sun: I guess this makes me the rebel with a cause, always thinking outside the box. It made me think about how I started my own little online business, selling vintage clothes. It was a bit of a risk, but it worked out, and it was definitely me doing my own thing.
- Capricorn Moon: This is supposedly the responsible side, the one that keeps me from going totally off the rails. It reminded me of how I actually saved up for that business venture, working extra shifts at my day job. It wasn’t fun, but I knew I needed the cash to make it happen.
Putting them together, this Aquarius Sun Capricorn Moon combo, it’s like I’m this mix of wanting to shake things up but also having this need for stability and, like, a plan. It’s a weird combo, but it kinda makes sense when I think about it. I’m always dreaming big, but I also need to feel like I’m building something solid, you know? Like that time I decided to renovate my apartment, I had all these crazy ideas, but I also made sure to stick to a budget and a timeline. Ended up pretty great, if I do say so myself.
So yeah, that’s my little journey into figuring out this whole “Aquarius Sun Capricorn Moon” thing about myself. It’s not like I’m going to start making life decisions based on my horoscope, but it’s been a fun way to think about who I am and why I do the things I do. I used to think this astrology stuff was a load of rubbish, but hey, it’s actually kind of interesting how it can make you reflect on yourself. It even gave me the idea to write this blog post, so who knows, maybe there’s something to it after all!
