Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Aries art stuff. Don’t know much about fancy art, mind you, but I know what I like. It’s gotta have some oomph, ya know? Like a good kick in the pants, somethin’ that wakes ya up.
This Aries thing, they say it’s like a ram. A ram, huh? Those stubborn critters always butting heads. Guess that means the art’s gotta be strong, not wishy-washy. Like that Hamal star they talk about, an orange giant. Big and bright, that’s what I like to see. Not some piddly little thing you can barely make out.
- So, first thing, gotta have that ram in there. Maybe not a real ram, but somethin’ that feels like it. Strong lines, they say. Yeah, like the lines on my old face, seen a lot of sun and wind. Those lines tell a story, and so should the art.
- And color! Don’t give me no dull, washed-out colors. Gotta be bold! Like a fire, they say. Makes sense. Fire’s warm, it’s alive. Red, orange, yellow, even a bit of angry purple, that’s what I’m talkin’ about.
They talk about disruptin’ things. Well, I guess that’s alright. Life’s too short to be boring, right? Shake things up a bit. Don’t just paint the same old flowers and trees. Do somethin’ different. Like those 20th-century artists, they weren’t afraid to try new things. That’s what I hear, anyway. Never seen any of that fancy stuff myself, but it sounds right.
Now, they mention stars too. Aries stars, they call ’em. Hamal and Sheratan, or some such names. Sounds complicated, but the picture they showed me, well, it was just a couple of dots connected by a line. Simple. But it gotta mean somethin’, ya know? Like, this star is strong, that star is fiery, and together they make a ram. That’s the kinda story I can get behind.
And passion, they talk a lot about passion. Well, passion is just doin’ somethin’ with all your heart. Like bakin’ a pie, ya gotta put some love into it. Same with art, I guess. Gotta feel it in your bones, gotta make it real. Don’t just copy somethin’ you saw somewhere else. Make it your own.
Pinterest, they say, has lots of ideas. Never been on that there Pinterest myself, but my grandkids are always lookin’ at it. Guess it’s got all sorts of pictures, all sorts of inspiration. So, if you’re stuck, maybe take a peek. But don’t just copy, remember? Gotta make it your own, gotta put your own spin on it.

So, whether you’re drawin’ or paintin’ or whatever, just remember: be bold, be strong, and be passionate. Like that ram, always chargin’ ahead. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Even my pies don’t always turn out perfect, but they still taste good. It’s the tryin’ that counts, ya know? And if it looks like a ram, well, that’s even better. That’s what this Aries art is all about, or so they tell me.
And don’t forget the simple things. Sometimes a simple picture is the best. A few strong lines, some bright colors, and boom! You got yourself a piece of art. Don’t need no fancy-schmancy techniques. Just gotta have that feeling, that energy. Like that ram, always ready to go.
They also said somethin’ about expressin’ yourself. Well, that makes sense. Art’s gotta be about what’s inside ya. What you see, what you feel, what you think. Don’t try to be somebody else. Be yourself. That’s the best you can be. And if your self is a bit like a ram, well then, all the better for this Aries art thing.
Drawin’ tutorials, they mention those too. Step-by-step stuff. Might be good for beginners, I guess. But don’t get too caught up in the rules. Art ain’t about followin’ rules. It’s about breakin’ ‘em, sometimes. So learn the basics, then go your own way. That’s what I always say. Don’t let nobody tell you what to do.
So, there ya have it. My take on this Aries art. Not an expert, mind you, but I know what I like. Strong, bold, and full of passion. Just like a good cup of coffee in the mornin’. Or a ram chargin’ across a field.
