Alright, let’s talk about this Aries symbol red agate thing, you know, the kinda stuff they sell at the market next to the turnips. I ain’t no expert, but I’ve seen my share of rocks and stones, lemme tell ya.
First off, they say this red agate, it’s got somethin’ to do with that Aries sign. You know, the ram? Always butting heads, stubborn as a mule. Well, this stone, they say it makes them Aries folks even more…uh…courageous. Yeah, courageous and passionate, that’s what the fancy folks say. Like they need more of that! They’re already running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
And then there’s this fire agate. Sounds fancy, huh? They say it’s good for them ambitious Aries types, the ones always wantin’ to be the big cheese. Helps ’em be creative too, like paintin’ pictures or makin’ music. Though I reckon most of them Aries folks I know are too busy bossin’ folks around to be paintin’ anythin’.
- But this fire agate, it’s supposed to calm them down too. Says it keeps ’em from gettin’ too worked up, you know, like when the cow kicks over the milk pail. It’s supposed to “stabilize” them, they say. Lord knows they need it.
- Now, there’s another one, this moss agate they call it. Tough as nails, they say, good for wearin’ every day. You can make it into all sorts of things, rings, necklaces, even them dangly earrings the young girls like.
I seen some folks wearin’ agate right on their chest, over their heart. Said it helps heal their feelin’s, make ‘em ready for love and all that mushy stuff. I ain’t no love doctor but if a rock can help, more power to ya. They also say it makes you think more, you know, about life and stuff. Makes you wonder, don’t it? Can a rock really do all that?
I remember my grandma, she used to say rocks had power. She’d pick ‘em up from the creek bed, smooth ones, shiny ones, and keep ‘em in her apron pocket. Said they brought good luck. Maybe she was onto somethin’, maybe not. But there’s somethin’ about holdin’ a stone in your hand, feelin’ its weight, its coolness, that makes you feel…connected. Connected to somethin’ bigger than yourself, somethin’ older than time. Makes ya think, don’t it?
Anyways, whether you believe in all that Aries and agate stuff or not, it’s kinda interestin’, ain’t it? People been wearin’ rocks and stones for thousands of years, for luck, for protection, for…who knows what else. Maybe it’s just human nature, wantin’ to believe in somethin’, wantin’ to feel connected to somethin’ special. And hey, if a pretty red rock makes you feel a little braver, a little calmer, a little more…you, then I say go for it. Just don’t go spendin’ your last dollar on it, alright? You still gotta buy groceries, you know.

So that’s my take on this aries symbol red agate thing. Not a whole lot of sense, maybe, but it’s the truth as I see it. Just a bunch of rocks and stories, same as it ever was.
