Okay, so, today I was fooling around with my system, and I got this idea to check out what’s going on under the hood using “top”. But then I thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a version of ‘top’ specifically designed for Aries like me?” You know, something bold, fiery, and dynamic, just like us Rams. So I started digging in.
First, I did some quick searches online. Typed in things like “Aries style tips,” “Aries fashion guide,” and “how to dress like an Aries.” I mean, why not start with the basics, right? And guess what? It totally makes sense that this could be a thing. People talk about Aries and their bold fashion choices all the time. They’re not afraid of bright colors or making a statement.
So, I started picturing what an “Aries top” command would look like.
- It’s gotta be visually striking. Maybe the interface would have a red color scheme by default. Red’s our power color, after all.
- Dynamic updates are a must. Aries are all about action, so the stats should be constantly refreshing. No time for sluggishness!
- Maybe it could highlight the processes that are using the most resources, you know, like a true Aries taking charge. We’re leaders, not followers.
I spent a couple of hours trying to modify “top” command, played with some scripts, trying to inject some of that Aries energy. Did I change the whole thing and make it work? Not exactly. I got lost in a sea of code and flags. But I managed to change some colors and messed around with the refresh rate.
Then I started playing with styles and what they say about people. Like, if you wear bright colors, you’re probably more outgoing. Patterns? You’re feeling adventurous. And this got me thinking, what if our tools, like “top,” could reflect our personalities too?
Honestly, it’s a fun project, and maybe I’ll come back to it another day. It’s not quite there yet, but the idea of an “Aries top” is definitely something I’m going to keep thinking about. It’s all about making your tools work for you and showing off a bit of your personality in the process. And who knows, maybe someone out there is already working on something like this. If you hear of anything, let me know!

Anyways, that’s how I spent my afternoon, playing around with code and thinking about what it means to be an Aries in the tech world. Not bad for a day’s work, huh?
