OK, so I’ve been digging into this SWTOR companion, SCORPIO, lately. Man, what a grind it can be to level up these companions! But hey, I figured it out, and I’m here to spill the beans on how I did it.
First off, I grabbed SCORPIO. I mean, you gotta have the companion before you can do anything, right? Then came the real work – figuring out how to boost her influence level.
I learned that the quickest way is gifts. But not just any gifts. This metal gal, she’s got specific tastes. Apparently, there’s a whole science to this gift-giving thing. There are green gifts, blue gifts, and purple gifts, and they all give different amounts of influence. And get this, each companion likes different stuff.
Finding the Right Gifts
- So, I started scouting around for the best gifts for SCORPIO. Some folks online were saying to just buy a ton of rank 1 green gifts. I guess that’s the cheap way to do it. But it takes forever, they said you need like 6,000 of them or something crazy.
- I also found some guides that listed out all the gifts and how much influence they give. It’s like a cheat sheet. They even tell you where to get the gifts – drops, missions, vendors, even the auction house thing.
I ended up going for a mix of blue and green gifts. The guides said that blue gifts that give a “Large” boost and green gifts that give a “Moderate” boost are the way to go. Seemed like a good balance between speed and cost.
The Gifting Spree
Once I had a decent stash of gifts, I started showering SCORPIO with them. It was kinda funny, actually. Just handing her stuff, watching that influence number creep up. I tried bringing her along on missions too, apparently making choices she likes helps, but honestly, the gifts seemed way faster.
The Results
And you know what? It worked! Slowly but surely, I got SCORPIO’s influence up to level 50. She’s a beast now, let me tell you. Totally worth the effort. It’s kinda satisfying, you know? Taking a companion from zero to hero, or in this case, zero to… well, a very influential droid.
