Okay, so I’ve been seeing these super cute constellation necklaces everywhere, and I finally decided to make my own. I’m a Sagittarius, so obviously, I needed a Sagittarius necklace in my life. This wasn’t some super complicated project, more like a fun little afternoon craft.
Gathering My Supplies
First things first, I gathered all my materials. I already had some basic jewelry-making stuff, like:
- Jewelry pliers (the small ones!)
- Jump rings (assorted sizes)
- A thin chain (I chose a delicate gold one)
- A clasp for the necklace
Then, I needed the actual Sagittarius charm. I found a simple one.
Putting It All Together
This was the easy part! I used my pliers to open a jump ring. It took a bit of fiddling because my hands aren’t the steadiest, but I got it. Then, I slipped the jump ring through the little loop on the Sagittarius charm and also through one end of the chain. I used the pliers again to close the jump ring tightly. Gotta make sure that charm doesn’t go anywhere!
Next, I attached the clasp. I opened another jump ring, hooked it through the other end of the chain, and then added the clasp to that same jump ring. Closed it up tight with the pliers. Boom! Almost done.
The Finished Product!
And that’s it! Seriously, it was so simple. I now have a cute, personalized Sagittarius necklace that I made myself. It’s not perfect, the jump rings might be a little wonky if you look super close, but I love it. It’s got that handmade charm, you know? Plus, I saved a bunch of money by doing it myself. Win-win!

I’m already thinking about making more for my friends. Maybe a Leo one for my sister, a Libra one for my bestie… the possibilities are endless! It is a really easy and fun little project.
