Okay, so the other day I was messing around with my birth chart, you know, just for fun. I’m an Aries, which I already knew – always diving headfirst into everything, super impatient, the whole deal. But then I saw my rising sign was Leo and I was like, “Whoa, that explains a lot!”
So, I started digging into it. First, I re-read my usual Aries horoscope stuff. It’s all about being bold, taking action, being a leader… pretty much me in a nutshell. I’m always the one making plans, dragging my friends on adventures, and, yeah, sometimes getting into arguments because I’m so stubborn.
Diving Deeper into My Leo Rising
Then I checked out what Leo rising means. It’s all about, like, extra flair, drama, and wanting to be noticed. I thought about it, and it totally clicked. I do love a good outfit, I’m always posting silly stuff on social media, and I definitely enjoy being the center of attention sometimes. I think my practice is to combine Aries and Leo!
- Aries Sun: Action, initiative, leadership, impatience.
- Leo Rising: Confidence, charisma, a desire for attention, warmth.
So, basically, I realized I’m like a double dose of fire energy. I charge forward with Aries boldness, but I also want everyone to see me doing it with Leo’s need for the spotlight. It’s like I’m not just running the race, I’m running it in a sparkly cape and waving to the crowd, I made myself feel understood!
It’s been kind of fun playing with this new understanding. Yesterday, I had a presentation at work, and instead of just getting through it, I decided to really own it. I wore my favorite red dress, practiced my delivery to make it extra engaging, and even threw in a few jokes. It felt good! It was like, “Yeah, I’m doing this, and I’m doing it well!” Aries energy with a Leo flourish.
It’s not always perfect, of course. Sometimes I can be too much. I can get impatient and bossy (Aries) and then make a bigger deal out of it than I need to (Leo). But now that I’m more aware of it, I can try to be more mindful. I can take a deep breath and remind myself that not everything needs to be a performance, and that sometimes it’s okay to let someone else take the lead.

I think I should keep learning my personality and others by doing the same thing!
It’s all a work in progress, but it’s been a fun little self-discovery journey! I suggest everyone try to do this too!
