Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into astrology lately, like really deep. And I wanted to see if I could actually feel the energies of my sun, moon, and rising signs. I’m an Aquarius sun, Aries moon, and Cancer rising, so I figured, “Let’s put this to the test!”
Phase 1: The Aquarius Sun Experiment
First up, the Aquarius sun. I decided to embrace my inner rebel and do things a little differently. I normally plan everything, so I threw my to-do list out the window (not literally, haha). I woke up without an alarm, went for a walk in a totally new direction, and even tried a weird new coffee flavor (it was… interesting).
Honestly, it felt a little weird at first. Like, I was actively trying to be spontaneous, which kind of defeats the purpose, right? But the more I leaned into it, the more I started to enjoy the freedom. I ended up having a random conversation with a street artist and discovered a hidden little park I never knew existed. Pretty cool!
Phase 2: Embracing the Aries Moon Fire
Next, I tackled my Aries moon. This one was all about embracing that fiery, impulsive energy. I’m usually pretty chill, so this was a challenge. I signed up for a last-minute kickboxing class (never done it before!), and let me tell you, it was intense! I felt this surge of energy, like I could conquer anything. I even spoke my mind a bit more than usual, which felt surprisingly good.
It was definitely a rush! I realized I hold back a lot of my emotions, and it felt liberating to just let them out. I don’t think I’ll be starting any bar fights, but I definitely felt more confident and assertive.
Phase 3: Navigating the Cancer Rising Tides
Finally, the Cancer rising. This one was about getting in touch with my emotions and intuition. I spent the day listening to my gut feelings and paying attention to my surroundings. I usually rush through my day, but I made a conscious effort to slow down and be present.

- I cooked a comforting meal from scratch (my grandma’s recipe!).
- I listened to music that really resonated with my mood.
- I even took a long, relaxing bath with all the fancy bath bombs.
It was a surprisingly powerful experience. I realized how much I usually ignore my intuition and how much I crave that sense of comfort and security. I definitely felt more grounded and connected to myself.
The Verdict?
It is an interesting experiment! I think this whole experience shows me that even in the most basic astrology knowledge.
It’s not like I suddenly transformed into a completely different person, but I definitely tapped into different aspects of myself. It was a fun way to explore my chart and see how these energies play out in my everyday life. I’m definitely going to keep experimenting and see what else I can discover! Maybe I’ll try charting, just for fun.
