Alright, let’s talk about this Magi Astrology thing and the transits, or whatever they call ’em. I ain’t no fancy scholar, mind you, just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two. But I’ll try to make sense of it the way I see it, plain and simple.
Now, these folks say Magi Astrology is easy to learn. Easy for them, maybe. They got all them books and computers and whatnot. But from what I gather, it’s supposed to help you make your life better. Says it gives you the “tools” to use the power of the stars. Sounds powerful, like using a good strong hoe to till the land, only instead of dirt, you’re working with stars.
Then there’s this “transit” business. That’s just where the planets are movin’ around up there in the sky, and how they line up with where the planets were when you were born. They call that your “natal chart.” It’s like lookin’ at the weather to see if it’s a good day to plant. Only it ain’t weather, it’s planets. And it ain’t plants, it’s your life.
Some of these transits, they call ‘em “looped transits”. Now, that sounds like a tangled mess of yarn, don’t it? They say these looped things can be good or bad. Well, ain’t that just like life? Sometimes you get a good crop, sometimes the bugs eat it all. It all depends, they say, on which planet is doin’ the movin’ and how it’s lined up. Sounds complicated, if you ask me. Too much thinkin’ for my old head. But I reckon it means some planets bring good luck, and some bring trouble. Like that rooster that keeps gettin’ into my garden. Some things just cause problems, no matter how you look at ‘em.

- Good transits, maybe that’s like a sunny day, good for planting and growing.
- Bad transits, maybe that’s like a storm, gotta hunker down and wait it out.
They got these things called “Transit Trackers” too. Sounds fancy. Like some kind of gizmo that tells you when the planets are gonna mess with you. Says it helps you know when the “transiting conditions” are good. So, basically, it tells you when to plant and when to stay inside. Only, it’s about your whole life, not just the garden. I guess that could be useful. If you believe in that sort of thing.
They also talk about “scientific astrology.” Now, that sounds like somethin’ important, with all them big words like “geometry” and “aspects” and “orbs.” Reminds me of them city folks comin’ out here tryin’ to measure my land with their fancy gadgets. Said they was usin’ science. Hmph. My eyes and my fence posts work just fine. Anyways, this “scientific astrology” uses all them fancy things to look at your chart. Your chart, that’s like a map of the sky when you were born. And they got software, like “Astro Fibonacci” or somethin’. Sounds like an Italian dessert. But I guess it helps them figure out all them angles and whatnot.
They say these transits are the third most important thing that changes your life. First, you got your own planets from when you were born. Then you got… well, I don’t rightly know what the second thing is. But the third thing is these transits, these planets movin’ around. It’s like the seasons changing, you know? Always somethin’ new coming along, whether you like it or not. And these transits, they’re always messin’ with your planets, makin’ things happen. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. That’s life, ain’t it?
So, there you have it. My take on this Magi Astrology and transits. It’s about planets movin’ and shakin’ and how they line up with your own personal planets. And it’s supposed to help you make your life better. Maybe it does, maybe it don’t. Me? I just stick to the basics. Sun comes up, sun goes down. Plant in the spring, harvest in the fall. That’s the kind of astrology I understand. But maybe there’s somethin’ to it, all this star talk. Who knows? It ain’t hurtin’ nobody, I reckon. And if it helps folks feel a little more in control of their lives, well, that ain’t such a bad thing.
Just remember, whether you’re lookin’ at the stars or lookin’ at the ground, life’s gonna throw you curveballs. You just gotta do your best to roll with ‘em. And maybe, just maybe, keep an eye on them planets, too.
