Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “opi aquarius renegade” nail polish shade popping up everywhere, and the color looked absolutely killer. I finally decided to give it a shot and see what all the fuss was about. I’m no nail artist, but I love trying new looks.
First, I grabbed my usual base coat. Gotta protect those nails, you know? I applied a thin layer of that and waited for it to dry completely. Patience is key, even though I’m always itching to get to the fun part.
Getting Down to Business
Then came the star of the show – the OPI Aquarius Renegade. The bottle looked so pretty, and I was super excited to see it on my nails. I carefully opened it up and wiped off the excess polish from the brush. I find that helps avoid those messy globs.
- First coat: I applied a thin, even coat to each nail. It looked a little streaky at first, which is pretty normal with some polishes.
- Second coat: This is where the magic happened! The color really popped, and it became this gorgeous, deep, shimmery thing. I was already loving it.
- Top coat: To seal the deal, I added a layer of my go-to top coat. This helps with shine and makes the manicure last longer. Nobody wants chipped nails after, like, a day, right?
I let everything dry for a good while. I even used one of those quick-dry sprays to speed things up a bit. I’m not the most patient person, haha.
The Final Verdict
Once everything was dry and set, I was seriously impressed. The color is even better in * is kind like an elegant and generous color. I think it is my favorite color recently. It’s got this depth and shimmer that just looks amazing. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it already!
So, yeah, I’m totally on board with the OPI Aquarius Renegade hype. It’s a beautiful color, and it was pretty easy to work with. Even for a nail art newbie like me, it turned out great. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for something new and eye-catching!
