Okay, so I’ve been thinking about getting a Pisces tattoo for a while now. I’m a Pisces, obviously, and I’ve always felt a strong connection to my sign. I finally decided to go for it, and I wanted it on my neck. Bold, I know, but I had a vision!
First, I spent hours looking at pictures online. I mean, hours. Pinterest, Instagram, random tattoo websites – you name it, I looked at it. I wanted something delicate, not too big, but still noticeable. I was thinking maybe just the Pisces symbol, the two fish, or maybe some kind of constellation design.
Then I started researching tattoo artists in my area. This was super important, because, hello, it’s going on my neck! I read reviews, looked at their portfolios, and checked out their Instagram pages to see their style. I finally found one whose work I really loved – her linework was amazing, super clean and precise.
I booked a consultation. We chatted about what I wanted, and she showed me some of her previous work. She even sketched out a few ideas based on what I described. We finally settled on a design of the two fish, swimming in a circle, with a little bit of a watercolor effect behind them. It was perfect!
The day of the tattoo, I was a little nervous, ngl. Getting your neck tattooed is not exactly a walk in the park. But the artist was super chill and made me feel comfortable. She prepped the area, put on the stencil, and we were ready to go.
The actual tattooing part… well, it hurt. I’m not gonna lie. It wasn’t unbearable, but it was definitely more intense than other tattoos I’ve gotten. It felt like a lot of scratching and stinging. But I toughed it out, and the artist was really quick and efficient.

- Itchiness: After few days, I feel a litte Itchiness on my neck.
- Redness: The tattoo around skin show some Redness, I think it is normal.
Aftercare
Afterward, she wrapped it up and gave me all the aftercare instructions. I’ve been following them religiously – cleaning it gently, applying the ointment she recommended, and keeping it out of the sun. It’s been a few weeks now, and it’s healing up beautifully!
I’m so happy with how it turned out. It’s exactly what I wanted – a subtle but meaningful representation of my zodiac sign. And honestly, it looks pretty badass on my neck. I’ve been getting loads of compliments, which is always a bonus!
