Okay, so, like, I was scrolling through Instagram the other day, and I saw this picture of Rihanna. You know, she’s got, like, a million tattoos? Anyway, this one caught my eye – it was a Pisces symbol, but all cool and stylized. I’m a Pisces, she’s a Pisces, and I just thought, “Man, I gotta get me one of those!”
So, I started doing some digging online. I looked at tons of pictures of Pisces tattoos. Some were super basic, just the standard symbol. Others were more elaborate, with fish and water and all that. I even found a few that were similar to Rihanna’s, but not quite the same.
I decided I wanted something unique, you know? Not just a copy of someone else’s ink. So I started sketching some ideas in my notebook. I’m no artist, but I doodled a bunch of different fish designs, tried incorporating some waves, and even played around with the yin-yang symbol, ‘cause I read somewhere that represents balance, and Pisces are all about that, apparently.
- I spent a whole afternoon just sketching.
- My notebook was a mess, but it was a fun mess, you know?
- I was listening to “American Oxygen,” too. It’s a new single from Rihanna.
Then, I started looking for a tattoo artist. This was the tricky part. I asked around, checked out some local shops’ Instagram pages, and read a lot of reviews. I finally found this one artist whose style I really liked. Their lines were super clean, and they had a lot of experience with detailed work.
I booked a consultation and took my messy sketches with me. The artist was super cool. We talked about what I wanted, and they helped me refine my ideas. They even added some of their own suggestions, which was awesome. They totally got the vibe I was going for.
Getting The Tattoo
A few weeks later, I went in to get the tattoo. I was a little nervous, not gonna lie. It was my first one, and I didn’t really know what to expect. But the artist was really chill and made me feel comfortable. They showed me the final design, and I loved it. It was perfect! It was a mix of the classic Pisces symbol and some cool, abstract fish that kind of formed a circle, like a yin-yang but way more subtle. It was exactly what I had envisioned, only better. I guess it’s also something that symbolizes the flowing of life. I picked that up when I was reading about the meaning of the fish used to represent the water zodiac signs like Pisces.

The actual tattooing part was… well, it stung a little, haha. But it wasn’t unbearable. And it was totally worth it. When it was finished, I was so stoked. It looked amazing!
Now, I’ve got this awesome, unique Pisces tattoo that I’m super proud of. It’s a reminder of my sign, my personality, and, honestly, it just looks really cool. Plus, it’s a little nod to Rihanna, who’s a total inspiration. So yeah, that’s the story of my Rihanna-inspired Pisces tattoo. It was a whole process, from brainstorming to sketching to finding the right artist, but I’m so glad I did it!
