Okay, here’s my blog post about my “Scorpio with Libra Ascendant” experiment:
So, I got really into this whole astrology thing lately, and I was particularly interested in how my Sun sign (Scorpio) interacts with my rising sign (Libra). I’ve always felt like a walking contradiction – super intense and private, but also charming and craving harmony. That’s Scorpio and Libra in a nutshell, right?
I decided to do a little experiment, sort of a “day in the life” to see how these two energies play out. I picked a regular Wednesday, nothing special, just to keep it real.
The Morning Hustle
First thing, I woke up, and BAM! Scorpio’s intensity hit me. I had this overwhelming urge to just dive deep into my work, ignore everyone, and get stuff done. I’m a freelance writer, so I can totally do that if I want to. I started planning my day in my head, thinking about deadlines, research, the whole shebang.
But then, the Libra rising kicked in. I felt this need to connect with people, to have a pleasant start to the day. Instead of just hiding in my office, I made an effort to chat with my partner, asked him about his day, actually listened(Scorpio Moon helps,maybe), and we had a nice breakfast together. It felt…good. Balanced.
Workday Weirdness
- Deep Dive vs. Diplomacy: While working, I kept noticing this internal tug-of-war. One minute, I was totally engrossed in my writing, lost in the zone (Scorpio). The next, I was checking emails, responding to clients with extra politeness, and making sure everyone was happy (Libra).
- Decision Paralysis: I had to make a couple of choices about which projects to prioritize. Ugh. This is where Libra rising can be a pain. I spent way too long weighing the pros and cons, wanting to make the perfect decision that would please everyone. Eventually, I had to tap into my Scorpio side to just make a damn choice and move on.
- The Conflict Conundrum: Had a minor disagreement with a client about a deadline. Scorpio wanted to be blunt and stand my ground. Libra wanted to smooth things over and find a compromise. Guess who won? Libra, mostly. I kept it professional, but I definitely felt that Scorpio simmering underneath.
Evening Reflections
By the end of the day, I was actually pretty surprised. I thought the Scorpio and Libra energies would clash more, but it felt more like a dance. Sometimes one took the lead, sometimes the other. I definitely see how my Libra rising softens my Scorpio intensity, making me more approachable and adaptable. But that Scorpio drive is still there, pushing me to achieve my goals and dig deep into my passions.
It’s like, I can be the mysterious, intense person I am inside, but I can also present myself in a way that’s charming and diplomatic. It’s a weird mix, but it’s my weird mix. I am still learning the balance. Still learning to ride the waves.
