So, I wanted to mess around with this “SE Gemini” thing I’d been hearing about. Figured I’d give it a shot and see what all the fuss was about. I’m not a super techy person, but I like trying new stuff.
Getting Started
First, I had to, you know, actually find the thing. Did some searching, found where to download it, and got it installed. Wasn’t too hard, honestly. The installation process was pretty straightforward.
Playing Around
Once I had it up and running, I started poking around. I opened up a few projects I had laying around, just to see how it handled them. Mostly just simple stuff, nothing too crazy.
- Imported a basic project.
- Checked the file structure, seemed okay.
- Fiddled with some settings.
The interface was… okay. Took me a little bit to figure out where everything was, but I got the hang of it eventually. It wasn’t the most intuitive thing ever, but not terrible either.
Trying Some Features
Then I decided to actually try some of the features. I started with something simple that I could easily find, like the code completion. Typed a few lines, and it popped up suggestions. Pretty neat, I guess. Saved me a few keystrokes.
After That I navigated to another code file then ran a code analysis. Then I reviewed the result.
My Overall Impression
Honestly, after messing with SE Gemini for a while, I’m not sure it’s for me. It’s got some cool features, but it felt a little clunky. Maybe it’s just because I’m used to other tools, but it didn’t quite click for me. I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s just not what I’m looking for. I guess, It can be useful to other people, but for my simple requirement, It is not what I expected
