Okay, so, I saw these cool rings online called “Spinelli Kilcollin Gemini” and I thought, “I gotta try making something like that.” They’re basically a bunch of rings linked together, but you can wear them on different fingers or all stacked on one. Super versatile, you know?
First thing I did was gather my materials. I didn’t have any fancy metals, so I just grabbed some wire I had lying around. I also found some pliers and wire cutters in my toolbox. Nothing professional, just the basics.
Next, I started messing around with the wire. I cut a few pieces of different lengths and bent them into circles. It was a bit tricky to get them all the same size, but I wasn’t too worried about perfection. I kind of liked the idea of them being a little wonky.
Then came the linking part. I made little loops at the ends of each wire circle and hooked them together. This took some patience, let me tell you. My fingers were definitely feeling it after a while.
- I experimented with different combinations.
- I tried linking two rings, then three, then four.
- I even made a couple of smaller connector rings to join them all together.
It was a whole process of trial and error. Some combinations looked cool, others not so much.
The Final Result
In the end, I had a set of linked rings that I could wear in a bunch of different ways. They weren’t as polished as the real Spinelli Kilcollin ones, obviously, but I was pretty proud of my little DIY project. It was fun to see something in my head come to life, even if it was a bit rough around the edges. It just shows you can make something cool with just some basic stuff and a little bit of effort. It is not about copying them, but getting inspired. You know what I mean?
