Alright, let’s talk about this… uh… virgo necklace thing, ya know? My grandkid showed me some pictures on that phone thingy, all shiny and stuff.
First off, what’s a virgo? Sounds like some kinda fancy car or somethin’. Turns out it’s somethin’ about stars and birthdays, go figure. People born under this… virgo… they like things neat and tidy, I guess. Like me, I always say, a clean house is a happy house, even if my old bones ache somethin’ fierce after scrubbin’ the floor.
Now, these necklaces… they come in all sorts, let me tell ya. Some are gold, real shiny like, the kind that makes your eyes squint. Others are silver, kinda plain but still pretty in their own way. And then there’s all sorts of dangly things on ’em. Stars, little letter thingies, even some colored rocks. My grandkid says those rocks are called… uh… birthstones? Fancy names for rocks, if you ask me.
I saw one necklace with the word “Virgo” all swirly and written out. Looked kinda hard to read, to be honest. Why can’t they just write it plain and simple? Kids these days, always makin’ things complicated.
- Gold necklaces, they say, are for folks who like things fancy. Like them city folk with their shiny shoes and whatnot.
- Silver necklaces are more for everyday wear, I reckon. Like me, I like things practical, things that last.
Then there’s all this talk about what rocks go with this virgo thing. Sapphires, they call ’em. Blue rocks that are supposed to make you calm and think straight. I tell ya, I could use some of that calm, especially when them chickens get out and start peckin’ at my garden!

Another rock they talk about is… uh… agate? Sounds like somethin’ you find in the creek bed. They say this rock keeps you grounded, keeps your feet on the earth. Well, I ain’t never needed a rock for that. Been workin’ this land since I was knee-high to a grasshopper.
And get this, they even say silver is lucky for these virgo folks, especially if their… whatchamacallit… Venus is in the right place or somethin’. Stars and planets, I tell ya, it’s all a bit much for an old woman like me. But if a silver necklace makes someone happy, then more power to ’em, I say.
Now, if you’re gonna get one of these virgo necklaces, make sure it’s sturdy. You don’t want it breakin’ on ya. And make sure it’s comfortable, too. Nothin’ worse than a necklace that scratches your neck all day long. I remember this one necklace my husband gave me… oh, bless his soul… it was pretty, but it pinched somethin’ awful. Couldn’t wear it for more than an hour.
And don’t go spendin’ a fortune on it, neither. There’s plenty of pretty necklaces out there that don’t cost an arm and a leg. My grandkid showed me some online… on that Amazon place. Lots of choices, that’s for sure. Just gotta find one that speaks to ya.
So, there you have it. My two cents on these virgo necklaces. They’re pretty, I guess, and they seem to make folks happy. And if they help you keep your feet on the ground and your head on straight, well, that’s just a bonus, ain’t it? Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed them chickens before they tear up the whole darn yard.
In short, get a sturdy one, make sure it’s comfy, and don’t break the bank. That’s all there is to it, really.
