Listen up, y’all! I’m gonna yak about this… uh… what’s it called? Super Sonic… Libbra? Yeah, that’s the ticket. Super Sonico Libra. Don’t ask me what it means, sounds fancy, like somethin’ them city folks would jabber about. But hey, it looks purdy, so let’s talk about it, shall we?
Now, I ain’t no expert on these here… “figures.” My grandkid showed me a picture, said it’s a big deal. Looks like a gal dressed up in some kinda shiny outfit. She’s got this here… scale thingy. My grandkid says it’s ‘cause she’s a Libra, whatever that is. Maybe it’s like bein’ born in the year of the rooster, but fancier? Who knows!
Anyways, this Super Sonico gal, she’s got this here getup. It’s all white and gold, kinda like them angel statues in the church, but, you know, more… revealing. She’s holdin’ this scale, like she’s weighin’ somethin’. Maybe she’s a baker? Or maybe she’s weighin’ out folks’ good and bad deeds. Like I said, I ain’t got a clue.
- She’s got this real long hair, all flowy and whatnot.
- And these big ol’ eyes, kinda like them dolls my grandkid plays with.
- And the outfit… well, it ain’t somethin’ you’d wear to church, that’s for sure. But hey, to each their own, I always say.
Now, from what I gather, this Super Sonico Libra thing ain’t somethin’ you just find at the dollar store. Nope, it’s one of them fancy collectibles. My grandkid was jabberin’ about pre-orders and Good Smile Company and all sorts of stuff. Sounded like a whole lotta hooey to me, but he seemed real excited about it. He said somethin’ about it bein’ a 1/7 PVC figure. I reckon that means it’s small, but fancy-like.
I heard tell you can get it from some place called Hobby Link Japan. Don’t ask me where that is, probably across the ocean somewhere. My grandkid says there’s this whole community of folks who collect these things. They call themselves… “otaku” or somethin’. Sounds like a bunch of weirdos to me, but hey, as long as they ain’t hurtin’ nobody, I ain’t got no room to judge.
Apparently, there was some kinda mess-up with the packagin’ for some other toy, somethin’ about errors and apologies. See, even these fancy companies make mistakes. Makes you feel a bit better about misplacin’ my dentures every now and then, doesn’t it? They also talk about release dates and changes. Sounds like makin’ these things is complicated business.
So, this Super Sonico Libra figure, it seems like a pretty big deal if you’re into that kinda stuff. It’s got that there Libra theme, with the scales and all that. And it’s made by some company that folks seem to like. And it’s got that pretty gal in a shiny outfit. If you ask me, it’s just a fancy doll, but hey, what do I know? I’m just an old lady who can barely keep track of her own socks, let alone a bunch of collectible figures.
I did hear that this here figure came out… or was it announced?… back in November of 2021, and then there was some more talk about it in 2024. Like I said, I can’t keep track of all these dates. My memory ain’t what it used to be. All I know is, if you’re lookin’ to get your hands on this Super Sonico Libra thing, you better be prepared to shell out some cash and do some serious searchin’. It ain’t somethin’ you’ll find at the local flea market, that’s for sure.
Anyway, that’s about all I got to say about this here Super Sonic Libra thingamajig. It’s a purdy lookin’ figure, I guess, and folks seem to be real excited about it.
