Alright, so last month I started looking into a little getaway, somewhere cozy and not too far from the usual hustle. That’s when I stumbled upon this idea of “The Leo Cottage” in Union Pier, Michigan. Sounded quaint, right?
So, I dove into some research. First, I hit up a few of those travel sites. You know the ones, they let you compare prices and see what’s out there. It’s pretty cool, actually, how many options they give you. HomeToGo was one of them, and they were talking about some serious discounts, like up to 75% off. I mean, who doesn’t love a good deal?
Then, I also checked out Tripadvisor. They’re like the big boss of travel websites, aren’t they? They had a bunch of listings for Union Pier, and it looked like you could really save some cash by booking through them. I spent a good few hours just scrolling through different places, reading reviews, and looking at pictures. It’s kind of fun, getting lost in all those vacation dreams.
Airbnb was another site I browsed. They’ve got everything from condos to, well, cottages. It was interesting to see the variety. And the photos! Some of these places looked straight out of a magazine.
Speaking of magazines, I read somewhere that The Leo Cottage was even featured on HGTV and in some other fancy magazine called Lonny. That definitely piqued my interest. If it’s good enough for TV, it’s gotta be pretty nice, huh?
My Booking Process
- Compared prices across different websites.
- Read tons of reviews to get a feel for the place.
- Looked at lots of photos to see if it matched my vibe.
- Got excited about the discounts and special features.
- Finally made the decision and booked it!
It was a bit of a process, but honestly, I enjoyed it. It’s like a little adventure before the actual adventure. And now, I’m all set to head off to The Leo Cottage. I’ll be sure to take some pictures and let you all know how it goes. Stay tuned!
