Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole TMNT Leo swords thing for a while now, and I thought I’d share my little journey with you all. So, I did what any self-respecting TMNT fan would do: I went down the rabbit hole. I started Googling and reading everything I could find about Leo’s swords. Some folks were saying they were definitely katanas, others were arguing they were ninjato. Some even mentioned this “Mystic Odachi” thing from that “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” show, which, I gotta admit, kinda threw me for a loop.
Here are some simple conclusions that I had from the internet.

My Thoughts
After all this, here’s what I think: Leo using two swords, whether they’re katanas or ninjato, is just plain cool. Sure, the ninjato might be more practical, but the image of Leo with two katanas is just iconic. It’s part of what makes him, well, Leo. As for the Mystic Odachi, I think that’s a cool addition for a new generation, but I’m old-school. I’ll stick to the classics.
